At the heart of each Concept Series drum is a seven-ply European maple shell. Maple drums are renowned worldwide for the deep, resonant sound that appears on countless studio albums. From there, the shells are kitted out with tons of features developed for high-end DW drums. The True Pitch tension rods are crafted for precise, even tuning across the head. Rack toms are fitted with DW’s proprietary mounting hardware (L-rods and clamps sold separately).
